1. The workflow of the household waste screening and treatment production line

After being transported by specialized vehicles to the treatment facilities, household waste first enters a closed unloading space, which is equipped with photoelectric switches or radar monitoring systems and video monitoring equipment, and can automatically open or close roller shutter doors according to real-time scenarios. Subsequently, the garbage transport vehicle began to automatically unload the garbage. During the operation of the unloading program, the sterilization and disinfection device and negative pressure deodorization system were synchronously activated to carry out deep level harmless treatment of the garbage.

After this step, the household waste is coordinated by the plate feeder and the conveyor belt to be sent to the first stage coarse crusher feeding port of the waste pretreatment system. During the bag breaking process, the particle size of the waste is reduced to below 250mm. After the first stage of crushing, the garbage is transported again to the drum screen through a conveyor belt. At this stage, an iron remover is installed on the belt to screen out the iron (magnetic) substances contained in the household garbage. The entire magnetic separation process is in a closed state.

The drum screen divides garbage into two categories according to size: large pieces of garbage larger than 80mm (on screen) and small pieces of garbage smaller than 80mm (off screen). Large pieces of garbage enter the air separator through conveying equipment, which divides them into two categories: light and heavy materials. Among them, heavy substances such as stones, glass, concrete, etc. will be transported to specific locations for landfill; Light substances such as paper, plastic, and other combustible materials enter the secondary crusher for crushing, and during this process, iron substances are separated again through the iron remover. The remaining materials are processed into waste derived fuel (RDF fuel).

As for the screened material smaller than 80mm through the drum screen, the remaining heavy material will also be transported to the designated location for landfill after being separated from the iron material by the iron remover.
