Working Principle:

A trommel screen, also known as a rotary screen, is a mechanical screening device used to separate materials based on size. It consists of a cylindrical drum that rotates at an angle to the horizontal. As the drum rotates, material is fed into one end of the cylinder. Inside the cylinder, there is a perforated screen that separates the materials according to their sizes.

The larger particles, which cannot pass through the openings in the screen, are discharged at the far end of the drum.
