1). Air drum separator is a device that uses aerodynamic principles to sort and process garbage.
2). Air drum separators usually include the following parts:
1. Feeding system: used to feed unsorted garbage into the air drum separator.
2. Wind system: generates and adjusts wind speed to separate light materials (such as paper and plastic) from heavy materials (such as glass and metal).
3. Separation area: This is the core area of the air drum separator, where the separation of materials is achieved by adjusting the wind force and angle.
4. Collection system: collects the separated materials into different containers or conveyor belts for further processing or direct recycling.
3). Working principle of garbage Air drum separator
1. Material feeding: The garbage is first evenly fed into the air drum separator through the feeding system. This process may include breaking large pieces of material for more efficient subsequent wind separation.
2. Air flow separation: A centrifugal fan is installed inside the air drum separator to generate strong airflow. Under the action of positive or negative pressure airflow, light materials (such as paper, plastic, fabric, etc.) in the garbage are separated due to their low density and easy to be carried by the airflow, while heavy materials (such as stone, glass, metal, etc.) settle due to gravity.
3. Rotating drum separation: Some equipment is equipped with a rotating drum separation unit, which further strengthens the separation of materials by weight through the rotation of the drum body. Light materials are thrown out and heavy materials remain in the drum.
4. Sedimentation chamber and filtration: Light materials carried away by the airflow enter the sedimentation chamber and settle down through deceleration and gravity to avoid being discharged with the air. In this process, dust and tiny particles are captured by filters to reduce pollution to the environment.
5. Exhaust and environmental protection control: The exhaust duct is connected to a dust removal and deodorization system to ensure that the exhaust gas is clean and meets environmental protection requirements.
6. Automatic control: The feed conveyor usually adopts frequency conversion control, which can automatically adjust the speed according to the airflow conditions to adapt to the sorting needs of different materials and improve sorting efficiency and accuracy.
4). Application of Air drum separators
This equipment is mainly used in the treatment of domestic waste, construction waste and other mixed wastes. It can separate materials of different weights and volumes by controlling the speed and direction of the airflow. The use of wind separation technology can effectively improve the purity of recycled materials and reduce the cost of subsequent processing.
