Magnetic Separator which it describes as an overhead magnet
and ‘powerful non-electric material separator that is suspended
over a conveyor or head pulley to efficiently sort out ferrous metals.
the overhead magnet has the magnetic intensity to extract all ferrous
contamination, including very fine particles, in dry or wet
conditions – all without needing an external power source.
This makes the novel Magnetic Separator ‘ideally suited’ for treating
mixed metals, e-scrap, construction and demolition materials, as
well as incinerator ash. Other applications include end-of-life plastics and discarded tyres.
The ‘self-cleaning’ device has been designed to attract metal that
is ‘automatically and continuously’ removed from the magnet face
by a belt that travels around the body of the magnet. A stainless
steel cleated belt moves contaminants from product flow into a
collection bin or chute.
Custom configurations are available to accommodate all belt sizes,
with options for high temperatures and various belt materials, including
armor clad belts
Additionally, Magnetic Separator may be placed at an incline. Its ongoing
cleaning system allows operators to significantly reduce downtime
due to maintenance.
